| 23 Jan 2026 | Sank | Sank in the South China Sea, Two sailors are confirmed dead, and four are missing from the crew of 21. The vessel, transporting iron ore from the Philippines to China, lost contact while approximately 141 nautical miles off Pangasinan on 22 January. A distress signal was received by the Chinese Coast Guard early on 23 January, indicating the ship capsized about 55 nautical miles off Scarborough Shoal. Currently, 17 crew members have been rescued, and a joint search-and-rescue operation with Chinese and Philippine authorities is in progress. |
