| 12 Nov 2025 | Engine Fault | Experienced an engine room fire and power loss approximately 12 miles off the Eastbourne, UK, Prompting a distress call around 5:00 am. The RNLI Eastbourne dispatched a rescue boat in moderate seas. The crew extinguished the fire but could not restart the engines, necessitating deployment of the anchor, which took over an hour due to rough conditions. The RNLI lifeboat was later cleared to return, and no pollution or additional damage has been reported. An investigation into the fire's cause is forthcoming. |
