| 14 May 2022 | Capsize | Vessel developed heavy starboard list and issued distress signal in Chiba Prefecture waters, Honshu eastern coast, south of Tokyo. The ship was en route from Hitachinaka. 5 crew went into life raft and were rescued, 2 of them suffered injures. MEISEN 2 capsized and rested starboard on bottom. The ship probably, was intentionally grounded in shallow waters close to shore, to avoid sinking. |
