| 14 Jun 2026 | Collision | Collided with a French-flagged sailboat in the Split Straits on 14th June, resulted in four fatalities and four injuries. The incident occurred around 11:30 AM, involving a sailboat carrying eight Czech nationals and the Krilo Eclipse, which had 118 passengers and 7 crew members. A search and rescue operation was launched, resulting in the rescue of four individuals from the sailboat; however, three died, and one was initially missing. On 15 June, divers recovered the fourth body from the sunken sailboat. The Krilo Eclipse was towed to Split for investigation, as maritime authorities continue to examine the collision's circumstances and plan operations to recover the wreckage. |
